Q: What size of harness should I buy?

A: Our harnesses are highly adjustable. We also offer a sizing guide (linked below)

If you are sending us a size measurement so we can pre-size your harness, please follow the illustration below. If you are looking for instructions on how to fit your harness after you've received it, please click here.

Q: How do I clean and condition my leather product?

A: To treat leather, our favorite cleaner is Fiebing's Saddle Soap. HERE is a link where you can order it on Amazon if you can't find it in your local stores.

You can also use any leather conditioner (HERE is our favorite) on the harness to add moisture and shine back into the harness. You may also waterproof the leather by using any non-petroleum based leather waterproofing product.

Leather takes a lot of care but it is definitely worth it since it will last you a lifetime!

Q: What does Scratch & Dent mean?

A: Leather is a natural product that is full of flaws that include: scratches, scars, folds, loose grain and other unique characteristics. We do our best to create flawless products from a material full of flaws, the result of which is a lot of useful and structurally sound parts that don't get used. So that's why we decide at times to do scratch and dent sales to help cut down our waste and to help you get your product for cheaper!

All of our products are made by hand. Because of that we occasionally mess up or cut something wrong, so there are a few of those products in the sale as well.

Q: Will you make me a custom one off product?

A: Unfortunately, we do not make custom one off products at this time.  However, we do offer customizable option at times to our already listed wallets, belt sizes, and rings.

Q: Is the drifter harness and/or its attachments still available?

A: Unfortunately, we no longer make the drifter harness or its accessories or attachments. We are making the upgraded dual bandit and lone bandit harnesses. If you are looking for a dual to lone or lone to dual attachment for the drifter we would recommend upgrading to our bandit harness.

Q: Where is my order?

A: At Rose Anvil, all of our goods are hand crafted and made to order in the order they are received. Because of this, there is a lead time of 1-3 business days (Mon-Thursday) for orders of our leather goods to be made. The lead time for all ring orders is 4-6 weeks, due to the ring making process and the amount of orders received. This estimate may be extended during holidays, weekends (Fri-Sun), and sales.
