The Barefoot (this boot) is zero-drop on our own Anvil Outsole with an unstructured toe cap and wide 3E toe box — natural foot splay and full ground-feel. The Rugged African Trooper rides on a genuine-rubber Tyre Wedge Outsole with a structured, thermoformed toe cap for traditional support and maximum traction.
