A sneaker built like a boot.
The Rose Anvil x Goral SMUGS (Sneakers Made Using Good S***) combine all the best attributes of a boot and a sneaker. Built with Horween Chromexcel leathers that mold to your foot like an old baseball mitt, breath, resist stink, and beautifully patina, the first day you wear them is the worst they’ll ever look.
Inside, your foot is wrapped in 360° leather from the unlined upper, to the leather-topped insert, to the veg-tan lasting board.
Their true blake stitch construction means any cobbler can resole them again and again, or just you could just mail them back to Goral and through their Rebuild + service, they’ll pull the old cupsole off and put a new one back on.
Handmade in England, SMUGS are the most durable sneakers you’ll ever own and they only get better with age.
